The Hornby Trail!

Time: 08:00 to 10:00 AM

Before it became Dadabhai Naoroji Road, it was Hornby Road. A street that witnessed Bombay grow from a colonial port city into the metropolis we know today.
Its buildings hold stories of ambition, commerce, changing communities and a city constantly reinventing itself. Behind the grand façades are architectural details, forgotten histories and traces of everyday life that are easy to miss when passing through.
The trail follows this remarkable street, ending at Victoria Terminus, now Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, with an opportunity to step inside and explore the architecture and stories of one of Bombay’s most iconic railway stations.
A closer look at the city, its buildings and the stories they continue to hold.
