Artist Biradar is known for his paintings of Lambadi life, with figures, animals, movement and everyday relationships forming an important part of his imagery. His way of cubist handling breaks a folk-dance scene into overlapping planes of colour with three women mid-movement, arms raised, bodies dissolved into green, brown and gold shapes that shift and repeat across the canvas.
