Bombay has always been a city of arrivals,  built by waves of people who brought with them languages, trades, and dreams. Its architecture reflects that blend, from Art Deco apartments by the sea to Gujarati merchant houses in Bhuleshwar and colonial facades in Fort. Our Bombay postcards capture the city in its quieter moments, the narrow lanes of the old town, fading signages on the shops,, the balconies that look over crowded streets. It’s the city today as we see it, ordinary, layered, alive. Bombay of everyday life, where heritage isn’t just in monuments, but in everyday buildings that have watched the city grow.

Through these postcards, we’ve tried to pause for a moment and look a little closer, at cities we think we already know or live in. Each postcard is a fragment of its neighbourhoods, its quiet corners that speak louder than monuments and often looked past.
